Responsibility
Mariame Sene is a Project Management Officer. Her main role is to plan, monitor, and report on GaneshAID projects in Mali. She ensures the timely delivery of project deliverables. As part of her core functions, she assists the GaneshAID Projects Coordinator in Mali in all project management-related activities. Besides, she also supports developing project work plans, monitoring and updating project plans, managing the daily relationship with service providers, including consultants, and ensuring projects are implemented as per the contracts and schedules in Mali.
Past Experience
Ms. Mariame SENE has over six years of experience in community development, focusing on project management, gender issues, and agricultural initiatives. Her expertise includes stakeholder management, project documentation, and monitoring and evaluation. She has held various roles, such as Gender Officer for the AgrECo project in Mali, where she implemented gender action plans to improve women and young people’s involvement in cotton growing activities. She also served as an Institutional Capacity Building Specialist for the USAID Keneya Jemu Kan project, facilitating strategic planning and capacity analysis for partner NGOs.
Education
Holds a Bachelor’s Degree of General Economic Sciences at University of Montreal and additional training sessions in First Aid, Emergency Care, and taxation.
