Yarro Fatimata – Project Coordinator

Responsibility

Yarro Fatimata holds the position of Project Coordinator in Mali. She is responsible for project development, planning, implementation, monitoring, information gathering, and evaluation. She drafts strategic documents, implements action plans, manages the project budget, provides technical and administrative coordination, supports developing Terms of Reference for consultants/experts, ensures timely delivery of outputs, and monitors progress. She also facilitates regular information flow, conducts research, supports capacity building and technical assistance through workshops, seminars, and activities.

Past Experience

Fatimata has over 16 years of experience in public health, epidemiology, and research. She has worked in various fields, including research, training, monitoring-supervision, and evaluation of projects and programs. She has also worked as a program manager for the USAID/JSI/M-RITE project and has been a consultant for various organizations and NGOs. She has experience in research, staff capacity building, and developing strategic documents. She has worked at ARCAD-SIDA/CESAC, where she was head of the Screening Unit and was responsible for promoting compliance clubs and discussions groups. She is a national trainer in Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses, Essential Community Care, Results-Based Financing, and action research. She has also worked at the Regional Institute of Public Health (IRSP) and the National Institute of Health Sciences (IRSS).

Education

Yarro Fatimata holds a PhD in epidemiology from the Institute of University Pedagogy (IPU), a Master of Science in Epidemiology, and a Master of Science in Reproduction.
