Public health challenges are complex and multifaceted, requiring the collaboration of different stakeholders to achieve sustainable health and immunisation equity. Partnering with development organisations has been identified as an effective strategy that GaneshAID can utilise to leverage the expertise, resources, and networks of other actors in the global health community.
Our development partners have a wealth of experience in developing strategies and implementing public health programmes in various contexts, addressing various public health issues. By working together, GaneshAID and its development partners can combine our strength and complement each other’s capacities to design and deliver innovative and impactful public health interventions.
World Health Organisation (WHO)
WHO’s primary role is to direct international health within the United Nations (UN) system and to lead partners in global health responses. Working with 194 Member States, across six regions, and from more than 150 offices, WHO staff are united in a shared commitment to achieve better health for everyone everywhere.
World Health Organisation Regional Office for Africa (WHO/AFRO)
The WHO Regional Office for Africa is one of WHO’s six regional offices around the world. It serves the WHO African Region, which comprises 47 Member States with the Regional Office in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo. As the lead health authority within the UN system, WHO/AFRO works with the Member States in the African Region and development partners to improve the health and well-being of people.

The Global Fund
The Global Fund is a partnership designed to accelerate the end of AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria as epidemics. As an international organisation, the Global Fund mobilised and invests more than 4 billion USD a year in supporting programmes run by local experts in more than 100 countries.

UNICEF works in over 190 countries and territories to save children’s lives, defend their rights, and help them fulfil their potential, from early childhood through adolescence.
People that Deliver (PtD)
People that Deliver (PtD) was established in 2011 when 79 institutions came together at the WHO and pledged their support and action to strengthen the capacity of the health supply chain workforce while promoting the professionalization of the supply chain role within the broader health system.
In-country public health challenges require the coordination and cooperation of multiple stakeholders, especially governmental agencies, to ensure effective and efficient responses. As the policy enforcement arms of the states, governmental agencies have the authority and responsibility to set the public health agenda, allocate resources, enforce regulations, and monitor outcomes.
Partnerships with governmental agencies enable GaneshAID to access policy, regulatory, human resource, and financial support essential to the implementation of public health programmes. By involving the governments in this process, GaneshAID can also encourage the countries to take ownership of the programmes and ensure their sustainability in solving in-country public health challenges, enhancing governments’ accountability and transparency.
Ministry of Health, Republic of Senegal
The Republic of Senegal Ministry of Health and Social Action, under the authority of the Prime Minister, prepares and implements the policy defined by the Head of State in the field of health, prevention, health, and social action.
Ministry of Health, Republic of Benin
The mission of the Ministry of Health is to design and implement the state policy in the field of health in accordance with the laws and regulations in force in Benin as well as government policy and vision.
Ministry of Health, Socialist Republic of Vietnam

In efforts to address public health challenges, the generation and dissemination of evidence-based knowledge and practices to inform and improve public health interventions is indispensible.
Over the years, GaneshAID has collaborated with specialised institutions to develop various research, innovations, and education programmes that are essential for advancing public health practices and interventions. Together, we share our data and insgiths, co-create and evaluate new approaches, and build the capacity and skills of health workers in different countries.
Africa Resource Centre (ARC)
ARC is an independent strategic advisor, promoting collaboration to help countries achieve their health goals. The Centre aims to build connections across organisations working to transform supply chains. ARC injects complementary resources to stimulate new ideas and approaches thereby building cross-sector collaborations that ultimately improve the availability of medicines and health products.
Regional Institute of Public Health (IRSP)
The Regional Institute of Public Health’s mission is to provide training, research, and service provision in favour of communities. Over the past few years, the IRSP has developed several projects for training and improving the quality of service provision for the benefit of health systems. The projects were carried out in partnership with various regional or international institutions to help tackle critical health issues.
